I'm looking for a nice 86/87 ECM wiring harness.
No TPI but a LG4 carb harness with automatic transmission.
I already have the ECM and hope to find the right wiring harness overhere

I have one out of a 1987 bird but it was a 5-speed..not anything different but the tranny part..

 

I have one from an '86 z28 with auto.

I really need a wiring harness with auto or else my 4th gear will not activate.

@86blackiroc, do you know the ECM number that came with the wiring harness? I'm looking for a harness that should fit a 1228079 ecm. The wiring harness should also be fitted with a knock sensor and all the normal stuff for the E4ME Q-jet. Thanks,

the 3 cut wires are for the Tranny plug you just mentioned. It's for the Knock sensor and EST Carb intake systems.

 

Mine has the plugs for the knock sensor and everything else related to the carb, but I don't know what the ecm number was. Mine also has the three tranny wires cut off and, unfortunately, they are MIA.

 

Thanks for the two offers. I hope you don't mind if I wait a little longer to see if there is a 87 wiring harness for sale somewhere. I don't want to buy a wiring harness and cut it up to make it work.
If somebody has a shopmanual with the identification for the 86 wiring harness then I can check if it's the same as a 87. Thanks,
