Rebuilt a 1989 IROC 305 roller engine (170hp version) and put it in my 1988 1/2 ton 2WD truck...not happy with the performance. Just want it to perk up a bit..the exhaust is not restricted, TBI/computer'd and it's a 5sp manual. The engine is tight, runs great but needs more cam duration/lift.

Looking for a deal on a new or used roller cam along the 210-215 duration and .450 lift area.

I have the stock takeout LB9 cam from my iroc, took it out with approximatly 49,000 miles. Its came from the LB9 305 rated at 220HP and 290FT/TQ.

those above cams are fine and brisk's cam will be like mine i'm sure

its 207/213 with .415/.430 with 1.5's, .442/.459 with 1.6 rockers

in my 89 L98. i went 12.9's with this cam with abit more in it with better tune

looks to be in good shape with 158K miles on it...i'm gonna let it go for pretty cheap

the other cams above tho are just as good.
