Just as the title says. I have a really nice set of hood louvers and I need a tight steering coulmn, no wheel with cruise and tilt ? The car is an 89 but I have the vats bypassed.

 

I have one out of a 92 firebird. Tilt Cruise and it was a 5 spd car too.

Thanks for the offer but I already made the trade. My column was basically hanging on by a thread and I just wanted to get a replacement and be done with it.

 

Usually all that's wrong is 3 screws that back out and make it loose. my 79 camaro was like that, took column apart, locktite on the screws and re-tightened them.....good as new!

 

Yeah I know, I read all the fixes and attempted to take it apart I had louvers lying around and figured why not trade them for a tight column. I know I got the low end of the deal but I would rather remove and reinstall 6 bolts than to mess around with it.
