I want a pro 5.0 shifter for an 83 trans am with 1990 Trans am T5 message me with details.

 

i will even accept a hurst shifter 4 83 trans am if someone has.

Just wanted to let you know I have a Pro 5.0 shifter in my 87 IROC with a T5. It worked great for 8 passed down the track. Now it has all kinds of slop and play play in it in AND out of gear. Just thought you might want to know that.

Thought I would let you know after doing some research and talking to Pro 5.0 that the problem with my Pro 5.0 shifter was that the bolts holding the top shaft to the bottom shaft came loose. Apparently this is common unless you loctite the threads which I have done. Wallah...all better now.

 

thanks for the info now i will consider the pro again other stuff first.
