Looking for a 6 speed
Looking for a 6 speed
I have a 350 bored out to produce about 400 + hp so I need a new transmission for my 86 Z28. I would like a 6 speed if possible. I'm curious if it will mount right up or what will need to be done to it to get it to run right. I'm going to put in a Hays 10-530 153 tooth flywheel with a Centerforce Duel Friction clutch (DF161056) so I need a good transmission. If you have one around the North Florida, Southern Georgia area let me know with a price and a pic. Also if anyone knows of any potential problems I'll run into while trying to install the thing I would appreciate a heads up.

Might be cheaper and easier to install a Worldclass T5 with Hanlon Motorsports upgrades.

I've had one behind my 425 horsepower smallblock. As long as you don't run slicks, it will live a long good life. Don't get me wrong. The T56 is a cool set up but if your on a budget, I would go with the enhanced T5.

If you had done a search, you would probably have found this thread about a T56 swap. Read the entire thread then ask your questions of us.
