My son bought an 89RS we are converting from a V-6 to V-8 and need a working 700 R4 Tranny.
Something stock in N. Florida or S. Georgia or willing to ship.
On a low budget so the cheaper the better.
I will be going from Tallahassee to the Tampa area for easter so anywhere along that route would also work.

That would be nice however i already sold the V-6 and already have a 350 i am building this weekend.
Just need a tranny.
We have had so much rain down here the junk yards are a muddy mess and don't see them drying out enough to pull a tranny for weeks.

Yes its different thats why i need a different one.
I have the one from the V-6.

 

I have one and am willing to ship but it has been sitting for around 5 or 6 years so not real sure but it worked perfect before I parked the car. I would be willing to let it go for $125 and shipping. it will ship from a commercial address not real sure on through who but there is a semi terminal right next door I can call them and see if anyone goes that way often and how much. I changed the front seal on it and went through the gears by the linkage when I was installing a 406 then decided on a big block so it sat. let me know if interested.

 

Thanks for the offer but chances are if its been sitting for 5 years it will need a re-build.
I need something i can drop in and drive.
This car is for my son and its a low budget build to get him transportation for now.
Upgrades will happen in the future.
