350 Engine Block

Looking for at least a short block 305 or greater (preferably a 350) within a few hour of me (zip 42211).

Condition dosnt matter as a was looking at local junkyards to find one to rebuild... as long as the price and location are right... tight budget and i dont have a clue what it would cost me to get one shipped...

Re: 350 Engine Block

Welcome to the board. Always nice to see another Kentuckian at thirdgen.

I have a friend with a 305 shortblock, but we are in London ky zip 40741.
You should be able to find someone with a 350 around Bowling Green.

Do the 350 if you can. It will cost about the same to build.

Check out www.kyfbodies.org or craigslist in your area. Maybe pick up a vortec truck long block at a local yard.

Good luck.

You've probably seen me driving 'round cadiz and this side of barkley. In-laws live down in shotgun hollar - yea. Red camaro with the ugly black trim pieces and black hood. I ain't been driving it for the last month myself because of the engine-swap-&-trans-upgrade-turned-to-trans-trouble. Right now it's parked in the landlords building until I can get the T-5 setup from one of the other guys on here that happens to be local-ish.

If you don't want this motor it'll end up finding it's way to the junkyard. I won't be dragging it with me to post when we get moved there mid-oct. If you want it just let me know and I'll try to do what I can to keep it out of 'yard for ya'.

Re: 350 Engine Block

I haven't heard anything from you in quite a while and I had to have the engine gone yesterday so I gave it to a friend of mine at work that wanted to put it in his Geo Tracker, lol, that I want to see!
