Re: WANTED: 700r4
is this for ur 3.1?? Cuz im pretty sure that the bolt pattern is different from v6 and v8. Ull have to find a tranny with a v6 bellhousing bolt pattern.

Re: WANTED: 700r4
no, this is for the 305 car. i have a t5 in my car. the 305 car's trans is okay right now, but we want to put one with less miles in, with a lower mile 305 to increase the value.

Re: WANTED: 700r4
If the tranny in it is currently fine, I wouldn't worry about the tranny. A lower mile one will not raise the value of the car at all.
And a 350 would be something that would raise the value a bit. 305 TBI cars aren't that desirable.

Re: WANTED: 700r4
i have a built 700r4 with shift kit installed with approximately 100 miles on it. I spent approximately $1000 on parts and labor just to get it redone while providing my own core. $650 takes it and for $150 more, I'll throw in the B&M Holeshot 2400 torque converter. Located northwest side of Chicago.

Re: WANTED: 700r4
the tranny in it has been pretty abused by previous owners. it slips the 2-3 shift under wot and slips a little bit on the 4-3 kickdown but that is almost unnoticeable. the tranny fluid smells kinda bad too. the current trans has maybe a few years left on it i would say. we just want a mint driving rs that is capable of long (600 mile plus) road trips in the next few years.

Re: WANTED: 700r4
I'm in Shawano Wisconsin and have an extra 700r4. I paid $150, came from a running and driving 89' firebird. I would like to get what i paid for it. Otherwise i have a 700r4 that i know works fine in my 87' LT camaro that i am going to take out. Want $200 for that. Both include a stock torque converter.
