I need a 9 bolt with 3.27 gears and pbr style disc brakes.

where are you located?

 

North Carolina. I think what I need is the 1le style brakes. The calipers are aluminum and both calipers are on back side of rearend. Like on the TTA.

Hey, Michael, welcome to TGO. FYI: Though called 1LE brakes, all 89-92 rear disc cars were equipped with what you describe. The 9-bolt, with the so-called 1LE brakes, was produced only in 89. With the correct backing plate, however, the brakes in question can be swapped onto an earlier 9-bolt (or 10-bolt for that matter).

Are both calipers on backside of rearend?

 

What Rear Disc Brakes Do I Have?
82-88 cars are equipped with iron, single-piston Delco-Moraine calipers and 10.5" rotors. In those years, the pass side caliper with its flex line is mounted in front of the axle, the drivers’ side with its hardline to the rear (I've heard that some early model cars, perhaps 82-83, have hardlines to both sides). The parking brake on these years adjusts the brakes, so use it frequently. If yours doesn't function correctly, take note of the "recall":

89-92 cars are equipped with alum, single-piston PBR calipers and 11.7" rotors (the so-called 1LE; however, all rear disc brake cars, 89-92, have them). Both calipers are mounted to the rear. All four-wheel disc cars, 82-92, are RPO J65.

I have a 3.27 rear set up for the PBR disc brakes. I'm working out a deal for another rear, and may or may NOT need to keep my actual calipers.

I'm in Greensboro/Jamestown NC.

 

72k miles, i would think the posi works got the car with out motor or trans, its a complete rear end, caliper to caliper,
