It's a Comp #08-300-8 with maybe 5000 easy miles. Looks new. I want $180 shipped.

Re: Used compcam camshaft
I honestly can't say what the cam will do for you. I picked up a motorless IROC and installed a 360 small block with the following:
Full length headers and 3" Flowmaster exhaust
SLP Big Mouth intake and runners
Speed Density Conversion
Older 58cc chambered AFR heads
SLP tuned ECM
325 horsepower at the wheels.
Sold the motor without the cam. New owner wanted to NOS the snot out of it and the cam was way too small for his liking. I was set up for strictly street performance with an occasional autocross. Cam is currently residing in a fresh Vortec truck motor sitting on the stand so I need to pull it on a weekend if you want it.

Re: Used compcam camshaft
sounds like i would pick up 10hp to the motor not bad for what i have in my current setup and i have read about the factory tuned slp ecm where would you find those and i think they were only for speed density right oh before i forget did you get a chance to get the part number for the shocks

Re: Used compcam camshaft
The shocks are full of random numbers but the most predominant is 6211021H00. Another smaller case number is 04199551. Do those help?
The SLP tuned ECM came with a Speed Density conversion kit I bought used off a member. So I had to reverse engineer my motor build. I got as much information on the motor build the ECM was intended for and copied it as best as I could. The result was pleasantly surprising.

Re: Used compcam camshaft
i really want the cam but the numbers i got from the schocks of another member and the ones you found on your schocks dont really match and it doesnt convince me to buy them on that note the cam i will have to wait after christmas i got a penelty on my general relief because i missed an appointment and have to wait to reaply until 12/27/11 and then i will receive money so if you are not in a hurry to sell the cam i will buy it but untill after christmas
