Looking for a 4th gen rearend to swap into my 91.

 

Willing to have one shipped, i may beable to locate one for you. I just sold a 3.42 rear LS1 rear end to a guy near morrisville, NC! Shipping to a freight dealer there to make it easier... shipping is about 150-160bucks and the rears with brakes (ls1 rear) is usually around 300 bucks. may have a 3.23 rear available, but no more 3.42's

 

Im needing one with brakes and I have a spare 3.42 laying around so that isnt a big deal.

 

I know where there is a 3.23 disc posi but I am in CA

 

ok, I do have a 3.23 rear, 4th gen LS1 car setup. can put on 3 channel brake lines for the thirdgen car so its a bolt in. $300 plus shipping which to one of the freight dealers would be around 150-160.

 

Still interested? My friend will be driving to Concord NC this friday morning to pick up a parts car and can bring the rearend with him for you to pick up. Thats 22 min from concord to rockwell. Let me know!

 

Dang that would be great but due to me having a weather permiting job I will not be able to get it till the end of the month due to lack of work this week. I will get up with you more near the end of the month though.

 

Thats fine. Just let me know. He wanted 300 for the complete rear with brakes, and shipping will be roughly 150-160 bucks. We are shipping a rear to near Raleigh soon to a Con-Way freight place to allow for customer pickup. Its cheaper that way so we have a good idea of the cost.

to the original poster im the guy from raleigh that orr is talking about... i bought one of his last ls1 3.42 rear end complete with brakes... he is a stand up guy... within the past few years he has helped me with my new engine build up through PM's and has helped me numerous time with little things... id say do it...
