Re: Looking for a MAF

I bought a Used MAF. 1 month later it died. Spending the $150 at Autozone on a brand new warrantied MAF was well worth the $. And it is a newer, circuit board design not the OEM big cooling fins & element wire, so it can flow a bit more cfm & is most likely more accurate.

Re: Looking for a MAF

I understand that as I was trying the exact same thing & couldn't find one to borrow.

Maybe you can find someone local or in DFW to borrow one to test with? I'm close to Austin, so I'm too far away.

What running problems are you having? Any Trouble Codes at all? Mine would bounce between MAF, something else or nothing wrong, yet it always was running bad, mainly at start up until the engine warmed up. The bad MAF was causing fuel mixture issues which were mainly noticeable at start up.

Re: Looking for a MAF

Hope you figure it out. I tried to help, you copped an attitude. I had some more help to pass along, but now your attitude is getting even worse. Good luck.

You not cheap & nowhere did I say or imply you were. Your doing teh exact same thing as I was. Trying to fix THE problem, not just randomingly throwing $ at parts & hoping for a fix. And NOWHERE did you say you were just looking to borrow one to test with. I don't need to look at your other Posts & try to figure things out. You want help? Put it all in here in ONE post. Not multiple threads.

Re: Looking for a MAF

wow lopezstud87 chill man... ppl here are just trying to help you...till you **** them off.

If you want help, it would be wise to clearly state:
What your question is.
What you think is wrong
What you have tried to do to fix it
What parts you have thrown at it already.
If you are stock or not.

Also have you tried to use the search feature?
People are willing to help till you catch an attitude.
