Looking for a Boot for my Shifter.

Hey guys,

I am doing a 700R4 to a WC T5 swap. I am looking for the shift boot that goes on the shift lever.

BUT

it is not the lower shift boot, or the upper shift boot. it is the smaller round one that goes on the lower part of the shifter where the shifter goes through the little plate that bolts to the trans. Mine is cracked and dry rotted so no good.

I have just the stock/standard shifter on the WC T5.

I looked all over for a picture and couldn't come up with one. I also checked the Auto Parts store here and they don't have them and they can't order them.

Any help from you guys would be great.

Thanks,
Adrian

Re: Looking for a Boot for my Shifter.

Hey guys, just wanted to say that after hours of searching i found a thread on here from about 2 years ago that said a different boot will work.

"Transmission Mounted Shifter Boot"
out of a 82-85 Jeep CJ
with a Warner T5 5-Speed trans
Part #8134064

Can buy them online (i haven't checked NAPA yet, will do that before I order one online) for about $7 plus shipping (price as of October 2012, on www.jeep4x4center.com). I will check NAPA in a few days to see if they have them and what the price will be if they do.
