Them shifters are rare and I have seen the go for more the 600, I have a f body year one book and they was 236 new. Look on ebay but u better off getting anything else. Its a guy selling one with his camaro I hope he don't know what its worth I want 1 too.

Yea I'm not expecting to get one cheap, but there different and that's what I like about it. I found one on craigslist that's installed in an iroc that was for sale and the top plate and a shifter ball on ebay, but that's it. Hopefully during the swap meet season this year I can find one.

I didn't realize until today that I do still have one here. It is NOS and in the first generation box. I am 99% sure that the first gen shifter could still utilize the factory shift cable but no worries, I have the shifter cable NOS too. The plate is NOS and in black. I made a custom plate & black surround for the one in my car.... great shifter and much more fun than the factory one.
