1987 A/C Bracket
I'm looking for help, I want to add A/C to my project. I'm running 1987 TPI accessories (No A/C, No P/S), right now. My understanding from researching this, is that the Alt., crank, WP use serpentine, and the A/C uses v-belt. I need to make sure the A/C will fit (I'm also running an electronic throttle). I don't care about the power steering side of things as I will not be running it.
Would anyone be able take a picture of the backside of the A/C unit to see how far in protrudes over the valve cover ? The electronic motor I for the throttle I'm using sticks out over the valve cover (see throttle body here: http://www.eficonnection.com/eficonnection/24x.aspx)
I'm having some issues attaching pictures (maybe I don't have enough posts yet). I will try adding pictures again later.
Thanks for any and all assistance.
If this setup will fit, I will be in the market for the bracket and A/C compressor.
