I was at the first Southern Knights in GA... where there was one of Joao's caps....
I remember someone saying, "let's see how it lasts in the GA heat"... and I thought they said it got soft.... Then I asked about this again, no one seemed to remember...
So I'm not sure if this happened or he used a different material, the piece I saw was nice (and current pics too), has anyone had experience with them and heat?

i do not, but i cant see a problem because he got good reviews...if he had problems i think many people would say something and not call his the best, however if you want original, hubcaps.com sell thems or look out on ebay, you can get a set fairly cheap 200-250, avoid the fiberglass ones with the wire on the back
I sent Joao an email asking about this and am asking a few people I trust that were there too and will update soon..

awesome....joaos a good guy and will give you honest answer...i cant see there being a problem cause then the kr noses would all have issues
I didn't think the caps were fiberglass, I thought they were some kind of plastic...

Per Joao, as noted earlier, they are plastic, not fiberglass.
He stated, that yes, there is a problem with them heating up, and allowing clips to bend, then possibly loose a cap, and he is working on another material (harder plastic) to test them... Others I've asked chimed in and noted same issues...
