I'm looking for a 700r4 transmission, preferably from an '88 camaro/firebird or newer. Would be willing to drive some to get it. Mileage preferred under 120k.

I still have a 700r4 from an 89 2.8liter Firebird. Ran into the same issue as you when I wanted to use it in my engine swap. Let me know if you'd like it. 4024156061. Jeremy

 

That wouldn't work as they need a 700r4 from a 2.8 or 3.1. The 350 wouldn't work. I however could have used that tranny yesterday. I pulled one from an 87 GTA yesterday but need an ECM for it now! Got one of those?

I have a 700R4 that I took out of my 1986 IROC-Z. 124K miles and was shifting fine when I pulled it out for my LS3 engine swap.

 

Sorry guys, I am looking for a v8 trans. The v6 trans have a different angled bellhousing and have weaker internal if I remember correctly.

Are you still looking for trans? I have one from a 88 Camaro 5.7 tpi car. The car has 144k miles. I bought the car a few months ago and put about 200 miles on car and it shifted perfect. Let me know. Im about hr north west of Philadelphia.

 

I'm up in NE PA, but have one w 125k on it. Out of 89 Camaro w a L98.

 

I have a 700R4 rebuilt with a B&M Shift kit in it, 6K on the rebuild. Shifts perfectly from an 87 IROCZ-28 5.0 v8. Up in Bergen County in NJ
