Re: E-brake Cable "S" Hook

Have you tried the local hardware store? I would think a typical S hook of approx the right size could be tweaked or trimmed to work?

Thinking about it, I should probably have a couple somewhere, but I'm not positive and worse yet I don't know where they'd be. For that matter they're so non-descript, if I had a couple in my spare hardware bins, they could have just as likely migrated into the drawer of generic S-hooks or could be supporting a shoplight somewhere.

I know what you mean... Every time I need a screw, I have to fish through all the salvaged hardware bins and find screws that all have the correct manufacturer's markings.

I took a look in my S-hook tray, and a few tubs of salvaged hardware, no luck on E-brake cable hooks. If I come across any I'll keep you in mind.
