I just got myself an 88 Firebird and found out that the 82-84 cowl H.O. air induction assembly and lid cleaner are compatible. This video shows what I'm trying to accomplish. I have found some of the parts on Ebay but the hardest part seems to be the air cleaner lid that goes with the air induction unit.

FYI - You pictured the air cleaner housing. I think there is also a mating plastic assembly that attaches to the hood with the sealed ducting and valve.
