My Firebird is an 88 with a 2.8 engine. I need the V6 specific under hood parts like the little can and throttle cable hookup. I also need that control module part that mounts under the dash near the ECM. Wiring harness would be great, or the pigtails to plug the parts in. Not sure If mine has dead harness for cruise in there or not. I guess maybe some cars have the wiring in the main harness already.

I'm not sure if the V8 under dash module is the same, but I would take the chance.

I might be able to help with a harness and module,...... not sure about the engine bay servo. I *Might have a pedal switch too.

I know the 84-87 cars used an independent / "add-on" harness that wasn't there unless the car had factory Cruise, but I'll see if I have an 88 Firebird Dash harness to check for any CRUISE stuff that might be there.

OK; I put a little time into this and think I've got a pretty good handle on things !



I believe these parts to be from an 88 Firebird V8. ( Trans AM, unknown engine ) The 2-wire plug near the module will plug into the dash harness. The "intermediate" harness runs along the back of the dash housing and leads to the area near the steering column on the drivers side. There it plugs into the dash harness again to lead to the multi-function switch (column) and the Brake switch,... then the square connector plugs into the SERVO harness. The SERVO harness plugs into the Brake Vacuum switch then passes thru the firewall & to the SERVO and it's Ground wire.

You'll see an extra Cruise Module and a Vacuum reservoir tank ( That's from an 84 Camaro ),...... didn't know if you'd have any interest in those.

I did not come across and Servos and I know that there are some "specifics" when it comes to the pedal switches (auto vs stick) so you might have to verify that's accounted for when you install everything; almost certain this is from an automatic.
