motor mount frame holes

just a quick question for guys who swap 4/6 cylinder engine cars to small block chevys.
does the frame have the holes drilled already for use of V-8 F-body motor mounts. Figure it does, but I know someone know the answer for sure. Other GM cars I have done had them but never had to do it on a camaro before. Thanks

Yep, Riley's right. The holes are there and one corner of the motor mounts will hang over the edge if I remember right. Getting to the underside of the holes where the nuts are can be tough though.

And, right now there is a brake line running right in the middle of where the mount needs to go (V6 runs the line towards the front of the crossmember, V8 towards the rear).

It is a real pain, that's for sure. I just did mine yesterday. Figured since I had the motor out I'd put in new ones. This time I dropped one side of the A arm to get at the nuts. I welded the nuts in there so I will never have to go through that BS ever again. Next time it'll be a 5 minute job instead of several hours.
