Is it worth it to port/polish these heads?

There "Double Hump" GM heads. With 2.02/1.50(?) valves. And the block has been decked. And im running forged flat tops if it matters.

I was wondering if I would really feel the diff with em ported and polished.

Thanks...

Yeah you will see a difference almost like any other head you port. Too bad it wont make as much power ported as most stock heads nowadays. The design is getting dated.

Whats the last three #'s of the casting?

Well these heads are really just temporary. Till I get a job and some money. What heads do you recomend? I want to get to 400 rear wheel hp.

Motor is:
357 block decked
Double Hump heads w/the mods I just listed also, the have been angle grinded
forged flat tops
mechanical Speedway cam. power-band=2500-7000 or something
steel crank
Performer RPM Air-Gap
Performer 750 cfm Carb
Pink conn rods
