help me build my motor!!

Ok guys, here's the deal. I would like to get my car into the 12's, NA, and I would like your help building the motor. I am gonna use this car for the street only, and when I say i want 12's, i mean i'd be happy with a 12.999. I just bought a 350, 4 bolt mains motor from a 79 camaro. I would like to use my current TPI setup, with work of course, on it. I was also considering a LT1 intake. Cam selections?? Head selections??? Anything other ideas?? I would like to build this up for fairly cheap, but any ideas are welcome. Thanks guys.

12`s

well its going to be tuff to hit 12`s and stay emmisions legal(streetable).First ditch the tpi manifold.Go with a aftermarket intake manifold or lt1 manifold if u could get it to work.get some good cylinder heads(world products, dart, trick flo etc.).a mild cam ....good exhaust.than your going to need a stall converter and good tires.then u just might make it.lighten up your vehicle.

The more and more i think about it, i am thinking about saving up for a LT1 manifold. I was also planning on getting world products s/r torquers with 67cc chambers and possibly porting them. For a cam, I was looking at comp cams XE 262, but I dont know if this would cause problems with the computer. The new block I have isnt roller, and I really dont want to spend the extra $ to change it to one, thats why i chose this cam. I was thinking of headman headers/ypipe, and a new cat also. I already have a cat-back. And I was thinking of about a 2200-2500 stall converter. What about this?? Thanks for your help.

this is going to be hard to pull off if you want to keep it NA and FI, if you ditch that and go carb 12.9's can be done fairly easy, your going to need a choppy cam and a good 2,600 or so stall. eather way i would also run the world sportsman II's insted of the S/R's
