Transmission: ck performance th400 3000 stall

Axle/Gears: 3:73 10 bolt

vortec heads

I am getting a set of vortec heads from a friend soon and i was wondering if i need a new manifold. i have a performer manifold now and i hear it wont fit. also are all vortec heads center bolt style valve covers?

You need a special pattern Vortec specific intake. The Vortecs use a simple upright pattern that doesn't work with other Chevy intakes.

They are centerbolt heads.
