How large and engine can the 305 TPI system handle?

Im about to score a TPI and I need an engine to put it on. Could it flow enought to handle a 383stroker? I know the tpi is the same on the 350 just with bigger injectors. Basicly, just tell me what i can do with the TPI to give me some serious power and stay around $3500 or so, Thanks guys

BIgger injectors

I'ld get a set of 454 injectors and a fuel pressure regulator to handle it. Aside from that you'll probably have to replace your current fuel lines to handle the extra pressure.
A bigger Fuel pump is manditory
A custom computer chip will be needed, and larger intake runners.
Larger fuel rails too.
That should pretty much be it. I'm not sure if the intake will allow enough air in, but you'll know that when you get it built.
Good Luck

454 injectors?

You need to get some SVO injectors probably (cheapest route), I dont think the stock 19# injectors will handle it unless its a mild 383. The fuel rails are fine. Not sure on fuel line sizes, but they'll more than likely be ok. You'll need a TPI fuel pump. The intake itself and the chip will be dependant on whats done to the engine.

454 injectors :sillylol: :sillylol: :sillylol: The stock 305 TPI will choke the crap out of a 383. It will be a torque monster with lousy top end. I'd think you'd need bigger injectors. SVO injectors are a good deal. About $220 for four. For a 383, look into a LT1 intake. www.lt1intake.com

220 for four?
220 for eight. You can even find them in the ~190 range if you look hard enough.

I've found 30# injectors for that.
Paid 210 for my 30#'ers from Summit.
