Keep it

For as much as it would cost to change your motor to a stock other, you'ld be able to make that combo do 13's and still drive it to work everyday. BUt that's just my opinion.

by the way...........

Your car, being a convertible and all. I didn't see anywhere you mention anything about subframe connectors. Everywhere I go I hear people talk about how weak even the hardtops are. They even say the t-tops and convertibles are worse. If you have SFC's I'm sorry that I'm spitting in the wind, I just didn't see any mention of it in your signature.

P.S. A strut tower bar would help handling wonderfully

My car had some fabrication that was done when the kit was put on it. Man I missed on the Jamex Tower Strut Bar Sale, wish I would have gotten one of the $20.00 deal. Also every place that sell SFC mention not for convertibles. Why is that??
Anyone have a extra Jamex Strut Bar to sell....

Dang, that kit looks sweet. Two seater, eh? I'd lose the chrome over the wheelwells and get better wheels, but that's just me... About the convertibles and SFCs. Convertibles actually got some kinda SFC-like braces from the factory which is why typical hardtop and t-top SFCs won't fit. (Yes, t-tops just got their roof chopped off and no extra factory stiffening whatsoever, and it sux!) Some companies make special convertible SFCs tho... I think Spohn has some, actually, but I'm not sure.

better than Centerlines? My 327 ran mid and upper 12's in the Monza...how fast of a street rod you looking for???

Also Spohn wont be back in production of the sfc's until late July.

I Dont see why that combo you have now wouldnt run 13's now.

Just for curiousity....

How much of a difference did the LCA's and panhard rod make for your handling. I don't have these and I think that my car handles great, are these mods mainly for rally-style racing, or are they practical for street? Just wondering. I lowered my car 2" and have a camber kit.

You think that LCA's would help noticeably

Im not sure what effect the LCA will have, because if have yet to drive the car. I was just replacing all the old stuff under my car doing this restoration project. I will find out in about a month after I get it rolling. Will post in suspension forum.
