Hey guys just looking for some general advice here. Now I'm not really into racing, but I want a good, dependable, powerful car. Each one of those options for the poll are my options for what I should do for my engine. Thanks a lot guys.

If you're not big into racing, then you're probably not big into engine building yet either. Just a guess. I'd get the whole engine. There's less work/tuning to do and you get 300 ponies right out of the box. Then when the racing bug bites you and you determine what your goals are you can start buying heads, cams, intakes, injectors, etc... to suit your specific needs. A 300 horse TPI is going to be a lot of fun to drive on the street and still be reliable, which is what your going after. The install should be relatively simple as well. Just switch the top end of the engine one piece at a time so it goes on the same way it came off and then do the switch. Try and do it in one day so you remember where all the wires go. I also recomend some experienced help, it will make the whole thing go much faster. Good luck!

Well I mean I don't go to a track and race or anything, I've road raced punks who think their mustangs are fast, but I'd like to get into racing and such. I don't know where any tracks are around here though. But anyway I do have some experienced help in my engine swap. One guy is booksmart while the other one is streetsmart so it's a good combination when we're all working on it together. We've all got busy schedules so the work on my car is going slowly but surely. Really all I have to do now is save up the money for a new engine so I've got a good 2-3 months to decide on what I want to put in, but I figured I'd ask all of you what the best deal would be since most of you have a lot more experience than I do. Alright guys just keep voting for me, I want to narrow it down to 2 choices. Thanks

Also if I were to buy just the block, what are some good heads for it and where can I buy them?
