Suspension parts needed for V-8 swap?

I will be doing a 4-cyl to V-8 swap sometime this year. Can someone give me a rundown of suspension parts needed to complete this massive swap? Or will any changes be needed?

Thanks,
Brandon

My '86 donor car had a bolt-on, triangular brace between the front crossmember and frame that the V6 car didn't have. The holes were there, the bolts were self-tapping, so it's on the car now!

Cool! Sounds just like a couple things and not anything major. Let me know if you guys recommend anything else.

Whoa, there, not so fast - you just asked about suspension. The list for the swap itself is extensive. Very extensive...

Is that what you really want?

Yeah....this was just inquiring about the suspension. But....gimme the full swap list if you have it. See, here's the deal. Me have $4700 check coming on September 1. Me thought one of two things could happen. 1: Sell my 84 4-cyl car and purchase 82-84 Z28 for $1500-$2500. 2: Purchase the engine of MY choice and perform complete swap. There are advantages and dissadvantages of both choices. But please do share the complete parts list for a carbed V-8 swap. Now....I could have one hell of a nice 84 Camaro if I spent the entire $4700 on it.

The parts list is so long, it typically makes the most sense to get a factory V8 donor car so you'll have all the parts you need. That's why it usually makes more sense to sell the non-V8 car and get a factory V8 car, even if you turn right around and put a different engine in it.

The full list goes something like this: Everything that attaches to or feeds the engine.

And I do mean everything.

Well.....looks like I might not have a choice but to keep this car. So maybe a V-8 swap in a few years may not be a choice either. Spend money on house or car.
