Swap With Or With Out Headers On
Swap With Or With Out Headers On
We are doing the swap this weekend.
Headers are allways a pain so can u put them on before droppin in the engine? long pipes
350 w/700r4 attached and by the way the idiot who rebuilt the old trans welded in the cross member and welded a bolt on the motor mount to keep it from hittin the pan. Motor mount was $13
Some of the boards say its hard to put duals on. Is this because of just ground clearance and emissions. I dont have to worry about emisions but ground clearance can be a problem. Would like 3 inch, friend just had 2.5 put on for 215 on old pontiac grand prix so I know the local shop will do itbut will i have problems?
any sugestions?

Headers in the car is the way to go, but requires a couple extra hands or more. It's a ground clearance issue. I have 4 in. of ground clearance at my highest point. If you don't mind doing a lot of banging around on the floor pans, it is possible to run the drivers side down by the trans and drive shaft. LOTS of banging.
