700r4 bolt to a 350 crate
will the 700r4 bolt onto the 330/350 HO Deluxe crate engine without any problems? I would like to keep the overdrive, but just in case i have a th-400 on standby.

You will need a one piece rear main seal flexplate, if you don't already have one, other than that it will bolt up.

What are those crate motors rated at, 330hp? It will hold up for a while if you just slap it on there! I would recommend getting it worked on though. I am putting my 700 up to my new fastburn crate motor, but it is getting "rebuilt". I would like to get a th400, not now though, running low on money and i would want to do it right the first time! good luck with the project!

Expand on this? There's no answer in this thread... This is partially right.
