swap to 350 or 383??

i'm about to put in a rebuilt engine in my 92 z28, but i'm not sure either to go with a 350 or dish out a few hundred more for a 383. will the 383 be worth the extra money?? thanks

383 is the choice. I am currently building a stroker with Scat forged crank and rods attached to some 11.1:1 SRp pistons for my 1984 Z28. torque numbers are 427 ftlbs at 2000 and max out at 541 at 5500 rpm

383 hands down...........it's a torque moster, you won't regret it

Just make sure the other components of the drivetrain are up to the power and happy cruisin

Theres not that much of a difference except maybe a little more torque off the line. I think either 350 or 383 will work just fine. 350 might be a little cheaper too. I'de go 350. Easily to sell, easier to bolt, and easier to upgrade. :lala:
