2.8L -> 2.8L swap, lol ;)
2.8L -> 2.8L swap, lol ;)
Don't flame me, but I was bored, and decided I needed a project.
I'm 17 years old and own a 1987 2.8L Camaro and have recently acquired a 1989 Beretta (also a 2.8L.) For the sheer fun of it, I want to do an engine swap between the 2 cars, I'm just wondering if there are any snags I'm gonna be running into, or if it should all just be smooth sailing. I'm also wondering what other parts I can pull out of the Beretta and have put into my car (the Camaro,) thanks

*sighs* looks like there is a difference, dammit. I've got the intake covered ... I think. Looks like the intake comes right off, which I should be able to just swap that around too ... I think, I'll check it out tonight after work or some such ... Are there any other differences? Like how the tranny bolts onto the engine? And is it something fixable?
Oh, umm, if it's NOT something I can do ... what parts would I be able to swap over ... headers, exhaust (cars seem to be the same length from the firewall back,) etc, pardon my ignorance
Thanks

After taking the Beretta around the block again today ... I changed my mind, I'm keeping it, lol
I just can't part with it ... Nothing like a nice ... primer-colored ... Beretta (better than rice
)
Anyways, thanks to those of you who helped :]
