hi, my buddy has a question about his car. he drives an 84 camaro z28 and tomorrow h can get his hands on an L98 (minus the tpi setup) so just the long block for like $300 w/ like 40k mi on it (from a wrecked 89iroc). we need to know: will an edelbrock manifold go right in place off that TPI base? And will the whole engine go in without a hassle? cuz i really dont know L98s. any help is appreciated. with a edelbrock manifol & carb w/ his full exhaust what kinda hp #s u think that 350'll be pushin? i was thinking round 250hp ish, but a nice increase from the stock 155hp or whatever (the non-HO 305)

 

he will have to do some work on the 4 center intake bolt hole but yes it will work.an your hp will be close i think. have him gasket match the intake runners on the intake.thats good for a few hp to..
