i may be doing a 400 and the heads are 68cc chambers and are 1.95/1.50 valves.........what kind of cam would be good
what cam would give me great tire shredding torque off the line and good pull through the mid to upper (5500) rpms.....also what kind of intake would be good too?

 

and i am hoping to run mid 13's or faster with this motor........i have 3.73......so how hard will it be to make it run that......

 

What kind of heads are they? (Casting number only please)

To make a 400 work, you need flow. That's alot of inches you're trying to fill & empty. Tell us what the heads are, we'll know right away what the engine will do, because that's the limiting factor.

Do you want to go fast, or do you want to "shred tires"? Your choice.

 

i dont know the casting #'s because he told me that the stock heads arent the best but he had a set of 1.94's and they are good


i want a car that runs mid to low 13's......so whatever combo you can think of that can do that




i have 3.73 gears so i dont think it will take too much to get it in the 13's
