700R4 Bellhousing Swap

I just bought an 84 Firebird SE for $100 it doesnt have an engine it had a 2.8 V6 and the car came with a brand new 700R4. I'm going to build a 350 Small Block. Snice the only difference from the V6 to the V8 is the bellhousing angle can I just swap the bellhousing?

Unfrtunately, no. The bell housing part of the trans case doesn't detach, it's all one big piece.
