3rd gen lt-1 headers

i put in my headers tonight on my 3rd gen with a lt-1. my car is a 85 z-28 with a 94 impala ss motor. i got the headers from a 95 impala ss and with a little pushing in the driver side collector, they fit! les

Normaly, you are supposed to lift the engine a bit for the driver side headder. I guess it is possible without. I installed mine at the same time I put the head on the block, less trouble that way, for the situation I was in anyways. As for LT1 headders, any headders intended for 3rdgens will fit. I gave my friend (mat89RS) a set of headmen intended for 3rdgens, and they fit like a charm on his 3dgen LT1!
