Is it possible to pull the tranny(T-5) with the engine ... I have seen it done with older vehicles.. just wondering if it can be done on a thirdgen?

yes very posiable, i just did it over the weekend, we pulled the T-5 with a roller block 305 out of my friends 87 firebird. rather easy, just take out the shifter, take off the crossmember, and torque arm, then disconnect the cencor to the tranny and pull the sucker, easy as apple pie.

 

yeah, just make sure you have one of those engine leveler things so that you can get the angle right. it makes things a LOOOOT easier.

if i can pull a 350 tpi hooked up to a 700 r4 from a crushed front end thirdgen camaro, any body else can.. i used my grandpops homemade engine hoist also.
