Looks very very nice. I love seeing all new suspension parts, and 383s aren't too bad either.

The 383 is sitting in the engine bay now, with a shiny new STAR STAGE III Carbon Fiber clutch, bolted too a neutrally balanced stock flywheel.

Today was just a hectic day all together.... after the crappy dyno, that about 6 of us walked out on this afternoon, then holiday traffic, it seemed the day was wasted over stupid crap.... You know how it goes...
I totally forgot you wanted to help put the T-56 in the RS...
I will give you a call next time...
Bobby and I appriciated the hand the other night...
We will get together again and go over your setup, so you can make some final decisions...
Let me know...
Scott

Cool,
let me know the rest of the parts that you used on Bobby's motor.
Maybe I can find the funding to build a sweet one like yours and Bobby's.
I'll need a -8AN fitting to give to my friend to take to work and have his co-worker take a look at it and see about getting it tig welded. I'll let him take my rail with him since it's here with me.

What kind of oil pan is that? I like it. The only decent aluminum pan I could find was the $99 jobber out of the Summit catalog. The fins on the pan rub my y-pipe and the half-whit dolt that designed the pan put the drain plug smack dab in the middle at the back of the pan. The drain plug is the lowest point of my car.

wow. I like it! Your doing exactly what I want to do with my car. Sadly I barely have enough for the enging going into my car.

Unfortunatley it had to go, the connecting rod bolts hit the bottom of the pan, it was the original pan that came with the LT1, so we purchased a shiny new one, and decided to leave it black... .....and no more clearance problems....

I want it done right as well.
Here is some insight.....
the Drivers side Rail has a larger inside diameter than the passenger rail.... due to this.... You will need
1 8AN x 3/8" NPT aluminum AN fitting.....
1 8AN x 1/2" NPT aluminum AN fitting......
TIP..... the fittings must be aluminum too get a good TIG weld...
