rebuilding a 350

rebuilding a 350
guy i know is selling a working 350 for $300 but it seriusly needs a rebuild. about how much would this cost me and would it be worth it or should i just wait for a better deal. btw i currently have a 2.8 V6 86' firebird.

i got my 350 that needs a rebuild for $150
price is kinda high
its costing me over $3000 to convert from a V6 to a decent 350 that i am building
(this total includes all parts needed) i still need to add special tools into the total

thanks for the info helps alot for what im tring to plan as far as funding and time, this is getting harder then i thought =( but big thanks for the info anyway.
