serpentine help!!
serpentine help!!
i sold my engine without remembering i would need the serpentine setup.
very dumb move....anyway, i want to use a nicer approach like march with aluminum pulleys and brackets. the only problem i've run into is they don't have anything to work with my stock alternator.
anyone know anything about switching to a v6 alternator....i have to move it to the passenger side and my stock one just won't work.
would a v6 work with no problems if it bolts up.....? i could always have it built to the amount of amps i need.

would using an older model of a V8 alt. that sits on the passenger stock, work if you put the serpentine pully on it??
I know my alternator sits on the passenger side, I use a part number from a 1974 truck for it. I think it is like 96 amp, only like $60 from napa.
