replace stock 305 tbi

just wondering....

any cost ideas of replacing a stock motor with a GM crate 305?

would love to see at least 250 hp and bolt to stock tranny (gm reman dealer install 2 yrs ago about 12k miles) (180K on motor).

is it possible? would do brake upgrade At same time.

thanks john

a crate 305 will bolt up to the existing trans. I'm not sure about cost, but I think you should be able to do it rather easily. Hope this helps.

BTW... what do you mean by a "stock motor"? do you already have a 305? if you do, that's no problems.. if you have a V6, you have to change your transmission.
