305 tbi to 350 carb

Help on swaping 305 tbi to 350 carb(92 rs). Here is the story. My boss bought a motor from someone out of the blue just because he thought it was a good deal, $1200.00. It just sat in the shop for about a month so i asked about it. He siad he herd it run and it sounded like it had a pretty big cam and thats about all he knew. I bought it the next day for $1200.00. It was a complete motor, edelbrock carb, mallory distributor, edelbrock aluminum intake, plugs, wires, water pump, all pulleys, it had 327 double hump heads, i took off the valve covers and it had roller rockers. I wanted to see what it would do. We had a 81 Z28 out back with no motor and i new it would go in with no problem, which it did. I drove out one side of my yard into the road and stopped. I flored it and it spun all the way through first, all the way through second, hit third while still spining and let off of it to pull on the other side of the yard.
So im putting it in my 92! Now I need yalls help. Just give me some advice on some problems i might run into and what i might need. I need headers also, the motor is the old style block so it has different exhaust ports than the ones that are on the stock motor. So what do I buy that will fit right in my car.

thanks for the help

the exhuast ports will be the same on both engines...so thats not a problem. it should be a pretty easy swap, just buy a AFPR to take care of the fuel problems, and the rest should go pretty smoothly i think. unless i am forgetting something

Welcome to the boards!!
