My 350 is in too, but it won't start either!
Got the motor in, but there's a problem with my fuel pump. It doesn't run. The fuse is good, I have a constant 12v. source to it. The relay is good, when I turn on the key and it clicks, and 2 seconds later it clicks again to shut off. I'm guessing the problem is somewhere between the relay and the pump itself (?). I know the pump is good, b/c I can put 12v. right to it and it fires. I'm starting to get
b/c I'm ready to drive this beast!
b/c I'm ready to drive this beast! Have you made sure your oil pressure sending unit is hooked up? I believe that will cause the fuel pump relay to not initialize. I do see that you are hearing the pump turn on and prime the fuel system, and that it will fire with a direct power source. my guess is still a faulty fuel pump relay. or a bad ground/wiring issue.

the pressure sender is hooked up. I didnt say the pump primed, I said I heard the relay engage for 2 seconds. If I apply direct power to the pump it works. So the problem is somewhere between the relay and the pump
