350 HO crate...
I'm thinking of swapping out my 305 and getting a GM 350 HO "base" crate motor. Here in Arizona, they check under the hood for all the emission stuff, so I'm thinking I will need to take all my emissions stuff and put it on that engine. The problem is I can't find any intake manifolds that accept EGR that will bolt up to the vortech heads. Does anyone know of any that do, and any other info I will need to know about hooking all the emissions stuff up?

I saw one in the display case at the dealer. But, you have to plumb exhaust gases up from the exhaust manifolds/headers to the intake manifold for the EGR valve to work (no cross-over passages in the Vortec heads). SDPC has a kit for it.

84 t/a 5.0, when you get that combo through your emissions inspection/testing, would you let us all know? There are a few hundred guys in emissions-strict locations* that would like to hear it is possible (without greasing any inspector's hand).
*I'm not one of them, by the way. I'm not all the impressed with the 350 HO crate (Vortec heads, actually).
