in need of engine choice...305/350tpi vs carb 350

ok i just picked up and 86 iroc....car sat for about 7 years...it was 5.0 tpi auto, has rebuilt trans w/shift kit, 16" gold iroc rims, ttops, only 66k miles. decent body, ok ....but the motor....the heads and tpi unit were removed and are among the missing, the harness is still there, i'm pretty sure its all intact. a/c and power steering still in there too(a/c still has freon) but, the block is done, pistons and cylinders are all rusted and such.... but, i just parted out a wrecked 88 iroc and i have everything engine wise from that. also a 5.0 tpi auto car. i dont know what to do, switch all the harness and stuff to put the 88 TPI motor in the 86, or just drop in a carbed 350 and forget about fuel injection. ive had tpi and carbed f-bodys in the past but i cant decide what to do with this one. carbed would be easier i know, but i like the look of tpi and the reliability, both systems have their pros and cons. i will not really mod the tpi motor, but id build a sick 350 if i go the carbed route....i got too many project cars, so this one will not be really for performance, just a driver.... i cant keep track of what im doign anymore but i keep buying these darn camaros...

for daily driving id go tpi, better low end and better gas milage, i belive a carb will outperform any near stock tpi but tpi can be very nicely modded. alcoholics are to beer as carbs are to gas.
