What year Corvette transmission will fit? None, directly. Vettes never used the torque arm mount, so you'll have to do something to make that provision when it goes into a 3rd gen.

You know what is special about Vette engines? Nothing. Except the price people seem to ask for them.

This is a V6 to V8 swap. The best way to do this is to get a 3rd gen factory V8 donor car for all of the non-engine/transmission pieces you're going to need. Might as well find a proper donor car for those things, even if you don't use the engine from the car (like a crate engine, for instance).

I thought vette LT1 were 4 bolts? I am not sure if he is talking about doing a vette LT1 swap or not. I thought I remembered someone saying the vette moter was ideal for clearence issues.

If you're asking what will "fit", you must not have LT1 in mind. "Fit" is hardly the issue with LT1 and up.

I don't have anything specific in mind, LT1 or anything else. I heard some corvette engines will fit almost perfectly into the 3rd gens, and was wondering what engines (any engines) would do that.
