if i am goin 2.8 carb to 5.0 carb lg4, and the lg4 was just pulled right out of the car all intack includeing tranny, when i drop it in and hook it all up will it be all set like timeing and all that will it need any major tuneing at all?

 

I am pretty sure that you 2.8 computer is way different then the 305 computer.

I am sure someone else has more words of wisdom.

Once again, I am not 100% sure, but I would bet that the timing and the carb are going to be WAY off.

What year car is this going in?

85 motor goin in a 84 car. no one else seem to want to help me out on this, so i will just take your word for it.

 

Once again, I am not 100% sure, but you may be able to get a v8 computer and use it. I wish someone else would post.
