2.8 v6
last night i froze my entire engine, it will not move at all. Do I need to rebuild it? And how much better would it be? Will it be faster? I was planning on that, shift kit, cold air intake, and dual glass pack exhaust. Does that setup sound good? I would love flowmaster or somethin, but glasspacks sound sweet and are 15 bucks!
Thanks

you will lose all of your low end torque if you go with the glass packs on a 2.8. v6's thrive on back pressure.
yes, you need a rebuild

How does it affect it with glasspacks?
I also have the RARE (crappy rare, not good rare) 4cyl camaro... I use glasspacks on it too, is that bad?

A 2.8 rebuild without some type of power adder (turbo/supercharger or nitrous) is a waste if you want it to be noticably faster. This has been beat to death but don't rebuild the 2.8 just swap in a V-8 if you want to go fast. Otherwise go with a 3.1 or 3.4 V-6.
Ya the 4-cyl Camaro isn't rare just undesirable
. No they are good cars, just not fast.
Later, Garrett
