well can i? and can you guys just give me a list of everything i'll need

Transmission: 700R4/4L60 same trans different name

LT1 yes

LS1 i dont believe so, because of a slightly different bolt pattern, and i'm not sure if the TC would mate up to the flexplate

no because everyones swap is a little different and everyone I know of has done things a little bit differently. just search through the LT1 swap posts and you'll get a good idea of what you'll need.

Why do it the easy way when you can simply custom make everything

very much so, but it is nice to be able to look back and see what you have accomplished sometimes. I wouldn't think it would be worth it to use the 700R4 behind a LS1, but if thats what you have you can use it on a LT1 if you use a 93 Throttle body.
