Tough call between LS6 and LT5. I would have to go for the LT5 because it is a true hand built masterpiece.

Except for monkey-spanking privileges, you can do a whole lot better for a whole lot less money and trouble.
They're extremely difficult to find in "good condition" used, since there never were very many, and people who have them aren't just unloading them for the sake of unloading them.

Someone has. There was a picture posted here a month ago of a camaro that had one.
As far as monkey spanking goes, our wallets would be better off if we did more of that. We would have less time to think about mods, swaps, and other go fast goodies.

thanks, The LT5 is an insane engine... another question i know the Ybody LT1's are sensative engine and they seem to run like a porsche engine, they have that fined tuned feel when you drive a LT1 vette, is the Fbody LT1 exactly the same?

It should. It is essentially the same engine less 40 hp. The LT1 by nature had smooth top end and does not drop off like the L98.
I am sure one of the LT1 swappers will chime in.

The thing about the LT5, is that you can go one helluvalot faster for one helluvalot less money. No matter how "cool" it would be to have one in a perfect world where money doesn't matter, it doesn't pass the "economic smell test". In reality, all you would get, is monkey-spank rights to tell all your buds, "I've got a LT5 in my car"; and then one of them with about 20% as much money tied up in his motor will promptly wipe up the asphalt with your butt, on the strip or anywhere else.
There were a number of LT1 cams used over its production run; the B-body ones were the really lame ones. No doubt there are tuning differences as well. But AFAIK, all mechanical things are the same between the F-body version and the Y-body one, except for the cam in some years.
